What a fantastic turn out for this year's Remembrance Parade and Service at St John's Church from the people of Churchdown and Innsworth.

Several hundred children and young people, including the Boys Brigade », Rainbows, Guides, Beaver-Scouts, Churchdown Village Junior School, and Troops from the HQ ARRC at Imjin Barracks» were in attendance.

Rev. Richard Inglesby, who stepped in for Rev. Jacqui Hyde from St Johns Church, carried out the outdoor an indoor Remembrance Service ».

There was a final Parade March back from St John's Church to behind St John's Ave Shops, where Brigadier Timmis (From HQ ARRC @ Imjin Barracks) gave a thought-provoking but brief talk on Remembrance and praised all of the young people for their smart attendance.

A big "Thank you!" to Tesco, Churchdown Branch », who donated refreshments for the post Remembrance Parade & Service, and to the GL3 Community Hub Cafe », opposite the Tesco store, for allowing us to provide Parade attendees with teas, coffees and biscuits!
