Originally from Hornchurch », in Essex I have now lived in Gloucestershire for over 30 years.

My early career was working in the Foreign Exchange and Eurobond markets in the City of London. Since moving out West, I have worked in the transport sector, on both the railways and buses.

I have various qualifications in banking and financial services, as well as in teaching and as an assessor and am currently working as a trainer/assessor.

Although I have never served in our Armed Forces, I wanted to repay the debt I feel I owe, to all those brave men and women who have served and kept me safe over the years, enabling me to live my life as I wanted to; in peace.

I am a volunteer case worker for SSAFA » (Soldiers, Sailors and Air Force Families Association) and a member of the Gloucester City Branch of the Royal British Legion » and that is how I got to know about GCN, which fits in perfectly with my own aspirations.
